Play Together's latest pet additions are here with lizards, including a new limited-time collection event

  • Haegin’s social gaming platform Play Together is adding a new set of pets
  • This time it’s lizards
  • There are 13 different kinds in total to catch

As a seasoned gamer with a penchant for quirky, social gaming experiences, I can’t help but feel a twinge of excitement at the latest addition to Haegin’s Play Together platform – lizards! Now, I’ve played my fair share of games, from the grandiose epics to the most mundane puzzlers, but catching digital lizards? That’s a whole new level of immersion.

Haegin’s social gaming platform, Play Together, is adding more collectible items for players to get excited about. This time it’s the introduction of a new creature type to their diverse pet collection – lizards have now invaded Kaia Island! These new reptiles can be caught, documented, and accumulated as part of a fresh event.

13 distinct types of lizards are being introduced, ranging from the diminutive Nosy Hara Leaf Chameleon to the colossal Black Tree Monitor. Handily, they can all be caught using just a bug net. Each capture can be logged in your Illustrated Field Journal, and upon completion, you’ll receive the Lizard Enclosure furniture as a reward.

On September 21st, we’re launching the Lizard Catcher Challenge! Players will have to find and capture hidden lizards within the game. To participate, simply tap the Trophy button located on the right side of your screen. Your performance will determine the themed rewards you receive based on your final ranking.

Cold-blooded

It’s not unexpected that Haegin continues to expand Play Together, considering it appears to be designed for a younger audience who might have more leisure time available to chase digital lizards. However, even given that context, it’s still commendable to see such an extensive lineup added to the game, especially following their introduction of ponies earlier in the month.
