Pokémon Go celebrates the arrival of Pokémon Horizons: Season 2 with the debut of Tinkatink

  • Tinkatink and its evolutions make their Pokémon Go debut
  • Other Paldea Pokémon will also join the fray
  • Lots of rewards will be up for grabs

As a thrilled Pokémon Go player, I’m excited to announce that the Horizons Celebration is back! And this time it’s bringing something truly special – Tinkatink has made its debut! For the very first time, Tinkatink, along with its evolutions, Tinkatuff and Tinkaton, are joining our Pokémon family during a unique event spanning from April 16th to 22nd. Get ready for an unforgettable experience as you encounter this shimmering, smashing, and undeniably pink Pokémon!

The hammers you notice Pokémon holding serve a purpose beyond just looking cool. Tinkaton, in particular, uses them to fling rocks at Corviknight. Moreover, you can evolve your own Tinkaton by gathering candy throughout the week – approximately 125 Candy is required to reach its final form.

Additionally to the introduction of Tinkatink, there’s an exciting new costume for Floragato – he’ll be seen wearing a hat adorned with Liko’s pin. You can find him wandering in the wild, emerging from Eggs, and even appearing during Raids. If you get lucky, you might come across a Shiny version of Floragato too! Other Pokémon such as Pikachu wearing Cap’s hat and Charcadet may also make an appearance.

In this wild area, you’ll find some popular creatures from Paldea such as Fuecoco, Sprigatito, Quaxly, and Pawmi roaming freely. Additionally, eggs found at a distance of 7 kilometers will hatch familiar faces like Hatenna and Elekid, with the added possibility of hatching a Tinkatink. Also, keep an eye out for unexpected appearances by characters from Horizons and their Pokémon in your photographs.

Here’s a list of redeemable

In terms of combat features, Pikachu wearing Captain America’s hat boasts a unique attack called Volt Tackle. The Raids offer a balanced combination of characters such as Charizard, Metagross, Alolan Muk, and, you guessed it, more Floragato. For those who enjoy extra challenges, Team Go Rocket balloons will appear more frequently. Additionally, egg hatching distances have been reduced and the likelihood of encountering Shiny Pokémon, along with Stardust rewards, has increased.

In addition to Field Research, there’s both free and paid Timed Research available, offering additional rewards such as unique avatar poses. You can also prepare for the event by buying the Celebration Event Ultra Ticket Box from the Pokémon Go online store for $4.99.
