Pokémon Go gets ready for the debut of Applin and Dynamax Entei later this month

In this month, two Pokémon originally from Galar are making their debut in Pokémon Go for the first time. Whether you’re drawn by their adorableness or strength, there’s an irresistible mix of sweetness and spice up for grabs. Applin and its evolutions will be introduced during the Sweet Discoveries event, while the Dynamax Entei promises a scorching Max Battle Weekend that’s anything but tranquil.

The event “Sweet Discoveries” takes place from April 24th to 29th, showcasing the small Dragon/Grass-type Pokémon called Applin. To catch one is just the start – you’ll need 200 Applin Candy and 20 apples to evolve it. Tart Apples will result in Flapple, while Sweet Apples will lead to Appletun. You can find apples randomly in the wild (particularly near Mossy Lures), and they might even trigger encounters with Applin themselves.

As a passionate Pokémon fan, I’m thrilled to share that during this special event, we can encounter rare spawns such as Bounsweet, Skwovet, and the charming Delibird. Field Research and Eggs provide increased opportunities for themed Pokémon like Munchlax and Cherubi. Additionally, Sweet and Tart Apples can be collected through Timed Research, which offers both free and paid options. The premium version rewards you with extra Mossy Lure Modules and additional encounters, including Applin.
