- In-person events will take place in Taiwan and Los Angeles in February
- Global event takes place later in March
- Several Shiny Pokémon from the Unova region will be available
As a seasoned gamer with memories of collecting Pokémon cards and playing the video games since my early childhood days, I must say, the excitement for the 2025 Pokémon Go Tour: Unova is palpable! The nostalgia of Black and White versions is hitting me hard, and the thought of stepping into the Unova region in-person at either New Taipei Metropolitan Park or Rose Bose Stadium has me itching to get my tickets.
2025 sees the return of the much-awaited Pokémon Go Tour, this time focusing on the Unova region. Choose to attend one of the two in-person events held in February or participate in the global celebration in March. The tour guarantees fresh experiences, tasks, and interactions with Pokémon that mirror Pokémon Black and White, along with their sequels.
From February 21st to 23rd, live Pokémon Go Tours are taking place at two locations: New Taipei Metropolitan Park in Taiwan or the Rose Bowl Stadium in Los Angeles. You have a choice between these two exciting experiences! Each ticketed event will immerse you in the Unova region with special seasonal themes, fascinating legendary tales, and numerous Pokémon to capture.
Tickets for these events are now available at discounted rates: $25 USD in LA or NT $630 in Taipei. Both events feature exclusive gameplay and ticket holders can dive into Masterwork Research to encounter Shiny Meloetta for the first time. Plus, the Egg-thusiast ticket add-on offers extra bonuses, with Shiny Maractus, Sigilyph, and Bouffalant available from 10 km Eggs during the event.
In addition, Shiny Deerling, known as the Season Pokémon, will join the Unova tour. Since its appearance varies depending on the environment, you might get a chance to discover and collect them all if fortune favors you. Be alert for a Special Research quest too, as it centers around the world’s destiny and only Reshiram and Zekrom can prevent catastrophe.

If you’re unable to attend the physical events, don’t worry! The Pokémon Go Tour: Unova is scheduled for March 1st and 2nd, right after. This global event is ticketless, meaning it’s open to all players, giving everyone a chance to enjoy the Unova-themed content at no cost. However, please note that you’ll have to wait a week following the in-person event before participating.
