- Pokémon Go’s June update is right around the corner
- Shadow Regice, Gigantamax Inteleon and Gigantamax Cinderace are featured
- And there’s a whole host of five-star raids, max battles and other additions
Despite the fact that some persistent showers have dampened the pleasant pre-summer vibe for many, there’s no shortage of fresh, exciting updates on the horizon. In addition to Pokémon Go continuing its journey, it also plans significant new features in its upcoming June update.
Initially, there are three freshly highlighted Pokémon joining our lineup: Shadow Regice, Gigantamax Inteleon, and Gigantamax Cinderace. These three will be accompanied by five Dynamax battles during the month, including Chansey on June 2nd, Machop from the 9th to the 15th, Hatenna from the 16th to the 22nd, Caterpie from the 23rd to the 29th, and Shuckle from the 30th to July 6th. These battles will be featured in Max Battles and at specific times over Power Spots throughout the month.
Of course, no significant update would be complete without some fresh five-star Raids to challenge. Starting from June 3rd, you’ll encounter Tapu Bulu, followed by Groudon on the 5th, Kyogre on the 14th, and Cabalion from the 30th up until July 8th. For those fortunate ones, Shiny versions of these Pokémon will also be available!
Mega!
On the weekends of June, it’s no surprise that the leading Pokémon for Shadow Raids will be none other than Shadow Regice! In addition to this, Mega Raids are also making an appearance, featuring the mega forms of Altaria (June 3rd-5th), Abomasnow (5th-14th), Manectric (14th-23rd), Beedrill (23rd-30th), and Aggron (30th-8th). I can hardly wait to battle them!
Don’t miss out on the upcoming events! The Serene Retreat is just around the corner, happening from May 30th to June 3rd. Additionally, there are several exciting events throughout the month, such as Instrumental Wonders, Phantom Ruins, Community Days, and a secret event, that will keep Pokémon enthusiasts entertained amidst the pre-summer showers!
