Pokemon Go’s October 2024 Community Day event will feature Sewaddle

As a long-time gamer with a soft spot for Pokémon, I can’t help but feel a nostalgic thrill when I hear that Sewaddle is the Community Day Pokemon for October! With Gen V being one of my favorites, this event feels like a trip down memory lane.

In just a few weeks, the latest Max Out season of Pokémon Go was unveiled, introducing the eagerly awaited Dynamax Pokémon to the augmented reality game. As we progress through October, Niantic has announced another event – their regular Community Day affair. This time around, a Pokémon dating back to Gen V will take center stage.

During October 2024, Pokémon Go’s Community Day will happen on the 5th of October, from 2:00 to 5:00 pm in your local time zone. This event will feature Sewaddle, a caterpillar-like Pokémon, who will be spotted more often in the wild. Even its Shiny version might be found lurking among the bushes! To make the most of this day, don’t forget to evolve your Sewaddle into Swadloon right then and there, as it will learn the Fast Attack move, Shadow Claw, during that process.

To enhance your experience, you might want to engage in Field Research, a venture that offers additional incentives for capturing Sewaddle, including Stardust and Great Balls. Moreover, Pokemon GO events, which are announced at https://www.pocketgamer.com/pokemon-go/showcases/, will occur frequently, so keep an eye out for them!
