- Today’s Pokémon Presents saw plenty of games receive new updates
- Pokémon Masters Ex, Café ReMix, Sleep and Unite are all getting new content
- Meanwhile Pokémon Trading Card Game is still going in the face of TCG Pocket
Today marked another appearance of a Pokémon Presentation, which is always a thrill for fans like me who eagerly await these events. We’ve already delved into topics such as Pokémon Champions, Pokémon Friends, and the Eternatus event in Pokémon Go, but there’s still plenty more to explore. To ensure you don’t miss any of the exciting details, I’ve compiled this summary for your convenience. Of course, if you’d rather experience the presents directly, they’re all here below for you to unwrap!
Pokémon Masters Ex
While this long-running gacha RPG has plenty of Sync Pairs at this point, it never hurts to add another, right? On Tuesday, July 29th, Carmine & Sinistcha will arrive, featuring in the Poké Fair until September 6th. And if haunted cups of tea aren’t your, well, cup of tea, you can grab yourself 3000 gems by logging before August 22nd.
Pokémon Café ReMix
Meanwhile, in Pokémon Café ReMix, things are getting nautical. From July 23rd (that’s tomorrow if you’re reading this on the day), you can meet Larpras in a fetching sea captain outfit. As for your other crewmates, you’ll find Alolan Meowth, Totodile, and Minccino in sea-faring gear. And if that wasn’t enough, there are new themed decorations you can grab, including a delightful Octillery chandelier. Lastly, log in before August 21st to grab a Jigglypuff wearing a straw hat.
Pokémon Sleep
While Café ReMix and Masters Ex have opted for regular Pokémon, Sleep is looking to outdo them by going down the legendary route. In September, an event centred around the Legendary Beasts will take place, allowing you to research Raikou, Entei, and Suicune. Then, in November, you can explore a new area called Amber Canyon.
Pokémon Unite
Given that Latias joined Unite’s roster last week, it only made sense that Latios would arrive soon after. And surprise, surprise, come August 8th, the Eon Duo will be back together. The way it should be. They even come with the ability to quickly fly to one another, which could prove crucial in the midst of a teamfight. There’s also a new game mode called Electrode Volleyball, which I don’t condone as a fan of that big old ball. Even if it does look fun. Finally, the latest trailer also teased the impending arrival of the Pawmi family. Yeah… I didn’t care either.
Pokemon Trading Card Game
Finally, Pokémon Trading Card Game, not to be confused with (the superior) TCG Pocket, is getting an expansion called Mega Evolution. I reckon you can guess what that includes. The trailer shows off Mega cards for Lucario, Kanghaskan, Gardevoir, and Venusaur, all of which have stunning artwork. And it’s all for different reasons, too. Mega Lucario’s showdown with a (standard) Venusaur is suitably intense, while there’s something wholesome about Kanghaskan and its baby teaming up. Meanwhile, the Mega Gardevoir is truly beautiful.
In terms of mobile content, the recent Pokémon Presents event included all the details. Additionally, there were announcements about a theme park, TV series, and the debut of the rather unattractive Mega Dragonite in Pokémon Z-A. Frankly, it was one of the most jam-packed presentations I’ve seen for some time.
