Pokémon TCG Pocket kicks off Ultra Beast expansion with Extradimensional Crisis arriving soon

The upcoming expansion for the Pokémon Trading Card Game Pocket is just about to be released, and it lands on May 29th. This new expansion, named Extradimensional Crisis, will introduce us to Ultra Beasts starting from next month!

To put it simply, an Ultra Beast is a type of Pokemon that first appeared in Pokemon Sun and Moon. They come from holes leading to other dimensions, making them quite unique. These creatures are incredibly powerful and seem to be rather unhappy about being taken from their original world. As such, they add a new level of potency to the Pokemon Trading Card Game collection.

Despite an official trailer and social media announcement, Pokémon TCG Pocket has yet to provide comprehensive details about all the new features being introduced. However, a quick look at the trailer suggests the inclusion of popular Ultra Beast Pokémon like Buzzwole, Nihilego, Celesteela, and Guzzlord. Additionally, there seems to be a new trainer character named Lusamine, along with other exciting additions that will be part of the upcoming expansion.

Essentially, it appears that the main focus of Extradimensional Crisis will again be the Alola region, drawing heavily on the content from Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon. At present, specifics about the game are relatively sparse.
