In the world of Pokemon TCG Pocket, a multitude of shimmering cards have been introduced, totaling over 110 new ones! It’s left me longing for extra Hourglasses to try my luck with a 10-pack draw. As suggested by its very name, Shining Revelry expansion, the action is filled with breathtaking new versions of cards, and characters from the Paldea region are also joining the fray.
Without a moment’s delay, once the update was activated, I swiftly invested some of my well-acquired Pack Hourglasses to unwrap ten packs. Fortunately, I snagged a Charizard EX card, but there wasn’t too much else inside.
As a gamer, it always feels good to snatch Pokemon Center Lady from the pile, especially knowing she can clear those pesky Special Conditions. It comes in handy big time when I’m battling against a scorching Burn, making my journey through the game a bit smoother.
In this latest update, similar to previous expansions, there’s an Emblem event where you can win cool new badges to show off to your friends. Additionally, a new Ranked Matches feature allows you to compete against other trainers, progressing from Beginner to Master Ball Rank. Points will be tracked and a special emblem will be given at the end of the season (around one month).
This means I need to flex my dusty duelling muscles again and start building my decks for real.
