February is known as the month dedicated to love, and when it comes to telling love stories, no one does it quite like Bollywood. Whether they’re light-hearted romantic comedies or deeply emotional dramas that leave you in tears, Hindi films cover a broad spectrum of feelings.
Lately, we ran a poll where you could choose the film that moved you to tears the most. The choices included Sanam Teri Kasam, Tere Naam, October, Kal Ho Naa Ho, and Masaan. It’s worth mentioning that Salman Khan and Bhumika Chawla’s Tere Naam came in second place, but just barely behind by 11%.
Harshvardhan Rane and Mawra Hocane’s film “Sanam Teri Kasam,” which returned to cinemas last week, is currently everyone’s favorite when it comes to movies that tug at your heartstrings. We completely concur, given the widespread popularity of videos showing tearful fans in theaters following their emotional journey through this love story.
47% of the voters chose Sanam Teri Kasam over Salman Khan’s Tere Naam, which gathered 36%. Laila Majnu, starring Triptii Dimri and Avinash Tiwary, got 9%, while Kal Ho Naa Ho featuring Shah Rukh Khan, Saif Ali Khan, and Preity Zinta received 8% of the votes.
In a poll, Masaan by Vicky Kaushal received the least number of votes at just 2%, and October starring Varun Dhawan did not receive any votes.
Regarding Sanam Teri Kasam, it’s worth noting that this movie shattered various box office records following its rerelease, sparking excitement among fans who are now clamoring for a follow-up film.
