On April 24, 2025, Pooja Hegde posted behind-the-scenes snaps on her Instagram Stories featuring Varun Dhawan from the set of Hai Jawani Toh Ishq Hona Hai. The duo was spotted relaxing on a raft, donning life jackets. Their faces were beaming with joy and they formed a heart shape using their hands.
Pooja sent a birthday greeting to VD, saying, “I hope your day is filled with joy, @varundvn! Keep entertaining me with your antics (smiling and hugging faces emojis).
In the second picture, Varun playfully shoved his fellow actor, causing her to giggle uncontrollably. She captioned it, “Evidence he tried to drown me (eye-rolling emoji), but since it’s your birthday, I’ll make an effort to forgive you @varundvn.
