The absence of Prateik’s father, Raj Babbar, a renowned actor-politician, as well as his half-siblings Aarya and Juhi Babbar, fueled rumors of family disputes. She brushed off the rumors by asserting that several close relatives of hers were present, such as her parents, aunts who had taken care of Prateik, as well as his grandparents. She underlined that all those who truly mattered, and who she considered family, were there to join in the festivities with them.
Looking back on our magical day, I can’t help but reminisce about how perfectly it aligned with the dreams my beloved Prateik Babbar and I shared. It was nothing short of enchanting – an intimate gathering filled with our dearest loved ones, all nestled together under one roof. But what truly made this day unforgettable was that we exchanged vows at Rock Cliff, a house belonging to the memory of Prateik’s cherished mother, Smita Patil. This place, steeped in love and history, added an extra layer of meaning to our special occasion.
Priya shared that although her mother initially bought the house with the hope of residing in it and bringing up her family, unforeseen events prevented this. Yet, they felt as though the house was a thoughtful gift from her, symbolizing her desire for them to embark on their new life together within its walls.
The duo has consistently been transparent about their partnership, but their unexpected nuptials left a few puzzled. Priya admitted that being wedded to Prateik doesn’t bring any new feelings, given they’ve been an item for almost five years and have already shared the same living space. She further explained that their connection seems so profound it feels like she’s known him since eternity.
From a philosophical standpoint, Prateik conveyed that the sensation seemed remarkably recurring, as if he had been through this ritual countless times previously. He pointed out that their bond transcends both time and space, and he harbored the belief that in every lifetime and universe, he is marrying Priya; many more such unions await them in the future.
