‘Prime Target’ is Ridley Scott’s Latest TV Show
As a dedicated fan, I’m thrilled to share that “Prime Target” is the latest addition to the impressive television portfolio of the legendary director Ridley Scott, who has given us masterpieces like “Blade Runner” and “Alien”. Notably, he was deeply involved in HBO Max’s underestimated sci-fi series “Raised by Wolves”, which unfortunately ended after two seasons. His television producing credits also span across shows such as “The Good Fight”, “The Hot Zone”, “The Man in the High Castle”, and “The Terror”. On the film front, Scott is currently a whirlwind of activity, having recently directed the much-anticipated sequel to “Gladiator” and produced the critically acclaimed “Alien: Romulus”.
In his upcoming plans, Scott is slated to direct another Alien sequel, along with the post-apocalyptic movie The Dog Stars featuring Jacob Elordi. Notably, the director will also produce Alien: Earth, a new FX series by Noah Hawley, as well as Amazon’s Blade Runner 2099, which is a spinoff sequel to the film franchise starring Michelle Yeoh and Hunter Schafer. At an impressive 87 years of age, Scott continues to work at a rapid pace without any indication of slowing down in the near future.
Prime Target set to release on Apple TV+ on January 22.
