Last Friday, we held a poll for our readers, asking them to select their preferred on-screen Marathi queen among the candidates. They expressed their choice by voting for their top pick.
Four options were presented for selection: Priyanka Chopra portraying Kashibai in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Bajirao Mastani, Rashmika Mandanna as Maharani Yesubai in Laxman Utekar’s Chhaava, Kajol playing Savitribai Malusare in Om Raut’s Tanhaji, or Kriti Sanon taking on the role of Parvarti Bai in Ashutosh Gowariker’s Panipat.
Following a full day of voting, the results are now available, and it’s clear that Priyanka Chopra has won across all categories. Her portrayal of Kashibai garnered the most favorable response from fans, receiving 67% of the votes. Runners-up were Rashmika Mandanna with 24% for her role as Maharani Yesubai in Chhaava, alongside Vicky Kaushal.
In the competition, Kajol finished in third place for her portrayal of Savitribai Malusare, earning 10% of the total votes. Kriti Sanon, playing Parvarti Bai, came just ahead with a slight lead of 2% in vote share.

It’s worth mentioning that the outcome isn’t all that unexpected, given the frequent online buzz surrounding edits of Chopra’s acting performances.
