During a chat with Siddharth Kannan, Arjan Bajwa opened up about his Fashion costar, Priyanka Chopra, and the struggles she endured in silence.
In 2013, Priyanka Chopra’s father passed away after being diagnosed with cancer. Arjan Bajwa recounted the moment when they discovered their shared struggle. They were conversing about their fathers, as even his dad had fallen from a balcony on the first floor. He reminisced, “I can vividly recall a particular day when we were chatting about our dads together. Others might have thought it unusual for co-stars to talk so much, but there we were – I had already lost mine, and she was sharing that her father was battling cancer.
2. Arjan openly mentioned her struggles with emotional turmoil, further stating that they held a deep regard for one another following their conversation about a private issue while filming Fashion.

He revealed that Aishwarya Rai Bachchan’s unwavering determination and tireless work ethic have significantly contributed to her success in her profession. Currently, in her professional life, Priyanka Chopra has multiple upcoming projects. Her next appearance will be in “Heads of State” alongside John Cena and Idris Elba. This movie is set to premiere on Amazon Prime Video on July 2, 2025.
