Prosecutors Bring Third Superseding Indictment Against Sean “Diddy” Combs

Federal authorities have updated the accusations against Sean Combs, including new allegations of human trafficking for sexual purposes and facilitating prostitution.

With the latest indictment submitted on Thursday, Combs now stands accused of the same three federal crimes that he was initially indicted for, concerning the management of a massive criminal operation which allegedly involved assaulting and trafficking women. This operation is said to have been orchestrated through his various businesses, with activities reportedly dating back to 2004.

The updated indictment, now making it the third time charges have been filed against Combs following the initial case, includes a new charge related to human trafficking involving one of the accusers. He stands accused of recruiting and transporting people with the intention of compelling them to perform sexual acts since at least 2021.

Authorities allege that the criminal group exploited Combs’ high-profile status to manipulate, frighten, and entice women victims towards the mogul, frequently under the guise of a romantic connection. Once in Combs’ circle, these women were coerced into participating in prolonged sexual acts with male escorts he called “Freak Offs.” Organizing these shows, which were often filmed, Combs and his accomplices moved sex workers between states and across international borders.

In addition to the initial charge, another count was brought by the grand jury regarding a lesser offense under the Mann Act – the illegal transportation of someone with the intention they would engage in prostitution. This is often referred to as facilitating prostitution. Previously, the enhanced indictment only charged one violation for this conduct, but now it covers actions involving two victims.

The racketeering charge against Combs has been amended, introducing a second consideration for sentencing that could potentially lengthen his prison term if found guilty, due to a fresh allegation of sex trafficking. This modification makes it clear that Combs is accused of abducting one of the victims and menacing them with a firearm, among other actions, from an apartment balcony.

Altogether, Combs is charged with five offenses across three counts: racketeering, sex trafficking involving duress or deceit, and facilitating prostitution. He has entered a plea of not guilty for these allegations and remains incarcerated in a Brooklyn detention center, waiting for his trial scheduled for May.

As I eagerly await the court proceedings, I find myself in the spotlight following allegations against me. A hearing has been set for the 25th of April, where I’ll face these charges. I’m currently waiting for an opportunity to address any questions or concerns regarding this situation.
