As a long-time PUBG Mobile enthusiast who’s seen more chicken dinners than I care to admit, I can’t help but feel the adrenaline pumping through my veins as the PUBG Mobile Global Championships heat up. The latest frost updates have certainly added an icy twist to the game, but for those in the know, it’s the fiery competition that’s really heating things up!
Most players are likely enjoying themselves in PUBG Mobile, especially with the recent Icemire Frontier update introducing icy dragons and other exciting features to the popular battle royale game. However, a different group of players are likely under pressure now, as the league stage for the PUBG Mobile Global Championship 2024 has recently ended, securing three additional teams for the finals in December.
I’m thrilled to share that come December 6th-8th at the London ExCel Center, Brute Force, INFLUENCE RAGE, and ThunderTalk Gaming will be battling it out in the grand finals alongside other qualified teams! And here’s some good news for those who didn’t make it this time – they still have a chance to compete!
The Survival Stage takes place from November 20th to 22nd. During this time, we’ll go from 24 teams to just 16. If a team doesn’t make it through the initial cut, they still have a chance with the Last Chance stage on November 23rd and 24th, where six additional teams will be selected to advance to the Grand Finals.

After following the PUBG Mobile Global Championships extensively, I must confess that its impact seems greater compared to the PUBG Mobile World Cup, which was heavily marketed but may not have been as comprehensive, held in Riyadh this past summer.
To put it simply, while that far-off event might have been more about boosting Saudi Arabia’s gaming reputation for some players, the PUBG Mobile Global Championship stands out as an event closer to home, making a significant impact due to its accessible location.
