PUBG Mobile introduces new Transformers takeover event

In update 3.9 for PUBG Mobile, we’re not just receiving updates but also a significant collaboration. This extended partnership, lasting until September 2nd, brings in Transformers-themed content. Characters like Optimus Prime and Megatron will make their appearance.

In the game, it’s not surprising that Optimus Prime and Megatron have been added as new summonable characters. You can deploy them during a battle using the Cybertron Beacon, or simply call in Cybertron Crates filled with Supplies and Energon. Each of these characters has their unique alt mode, skills, and can be enhanced by collecting Energon.

In this scenario, not only are they visually distinct, but these age-old adversaries will create a battleground when they clash. During these encounters, players can engage in combat between the two sides. Upon completion of each match, unique rewards will be granted. Additionally, outside of individual battles, you have the option to declare allegiance to either Autobot or Decepticon and complete faction missions for additional perks.

Go big or go home

You’ll want to stay tuned, because there’s also even more Transformers-specific content coming July 18th, with more themed vehicles. Not to mention the Cosmic Hoverboard that’s joining the lineup for you to play around with.

In update 3.9, there’s much more than what I’ve mentioned so far. You’ll get a new social hub where you can interact with other players, a vibrant themed area called Neon Outpost, enhancements to Metro Royale, the freshly introduced Ranked Arena mode, and lots more!
