- PUBG Mobile is debuting its first major 2025 update with version 3.6
- The headlining addition is the new Sacred Quartet mode
- Enjoy the new upcoming Spring Festival event coming this month too!
In simple terms, PUBG Mobile, Krafton’s highly successful mobile battle royale game, is preparing to launch its first significant update in 2025. This isn’t just any ordinary update; it promises some exciting features. They are introducing a new game mode called Sacred Quarter, a major event, along with mounts and elemental powers!
Indeed, the central theme of this latest update revolves around the martial arts genre known as wuxia. You’ll notice that Erangel, Livik, and Sanhok have been transformed with the addition of a floating mountain sanctuary pulsating with elemental energy. In these areas, as well as other ground-based locations, you will encounter elemental devices, treasures, and equipment. Furthermore, Mystic Enclaves can be found scattered across the map, offering quiet spots to rest and regain your strength.
On Spawn Island, you have the opportunity to learn new Elemental Arts. You can choose specific elements from a pop-up box, such as the Flaming Phoenix, Aqua Dragon, Whirlwind Tiger, or Naturespirit Deer, each with unique magical powers at your disposal.
Spring in your step
Starting January 23rd, PUBG Mobile is planning a significant event, which coincides with the Spring Festival that lasts until February 5th. This event allows players to celebrate the Year of the Snake in an exciting manner. During gameplay, dumplings can be found to restore health and energy, and there’s also the opportunity to witness the lively Lion Dance upon entering the Mystic Enclave.
This update from Krafton is truly packing a punch, introducing an array of fresh decorative items for your home within World of Wonder and a two-seater Panda mount to fight alongside! Essentially, they’re off to a strong start with this release. Don’t wait too long though, as the Sacred Quartet offer ends on March 5th!
