Purple Mountain Observatory’s “Excavation” Collection To Land on HBX

As a seasoned gamer and adventure enthusiast, I can’t help but feel a rush of excitement upon seeing Purple Mountain Observatory’s Fall/Winter 2024 “Excavation” collection. My life has been a never-ending quest for gear that can keep up with my relentless pursuit of virtual and real-world mountains, and this collection seems to be tailor-made for someone like me.

The “Excavation” collection by Purple Mountain Observatory for the fall and winter of 2024 will be available on HBX starting this upcoming weekend.

This year, the outdoor and activewear brand based in London took inspiration from the copper and slate quarries in Britain for their designs. The quarry’s colors serve as a foundation for the earthy tones prevalent in the collection, but bold, vibrant shades are also included as a nod to the workers at these quarries.

Focusing on safety and coziness, this collection offers a variety of weather-suitable designs for traversing tough landscapes. Innovative silhouettes and items are also presented, such as the lightweight and extreme-weather resistant Deluge Pants, performance-boosting Terrain Pants, along with the Ridge Jacket and Shield Puffer made from Barnacle Mesh material.

For the upcoming seasonal lineup, some timeless favorites are reintroduced with a modern twist. This includes the iconic Alpine Pants now available in a fresh camouflage pattern, as well as the Climate Hooded Jacket, Waves Light Puffer, and DWR-finished Breeze Jacket, which come in gradient shades.

Take a look at the selection displayed up there. Starting from September 15, 9 a.m. EST, you’ll be able to purchase The Purple Mountain Observatory’s FW2 “Excavation” collection via HBX.
