As a gamer, I’ve been following the latest developments in my favorite game’s universe. After Berk left, there was a big scandal when Rolling Stone published an article this year about Van Ness. The piece alleged that he had anger problems, which apparently caused a lot of tension within the group, ultimately leading to his departure from the show.
The article referenced discussions with three individuals who’d collaborated with the grooming and beauty specialist. They portrayed him as both verbally abusive and monstrous, while the series additionally alleged a highly detrimental atmosphere on the reality TV set.
Van Ness, who prefers they/them pronouns, expressed that the article was more of an exaggeration than a reflection of reality, but it could easily be twisted to portray them in the most unfavorable light.
