In my school days, one of the most thrilling times occurred when smartphones became popular and we began employing Kahoot in our classes. Despite the abundance of humorous responses, these quizzes definitely made learning more interesting. However, this wasn’t its primary purpose, so it’s not surprising that someone has now advanced it to Qwizy for a more focused educational experience.

As a passionate gamer, I’ve found myself immersed in Qwizy – a brainchild of developer Ignat Boyarinov, a 21-year-old student from Switzerland. This engaging platform combines the thrill of gaming with the enrichment of learning. I get to design and customize my own quizzes, whether it’s challenging friends or taking on strangers in friendly competition!

While you might find this concept somewhat familiar, it sets itself apart with the inclusion of gaming elements. These include real player versus player competitions, scoreboards, and an emphasis on providing educational material that can be utilized both online and offline, tailored to each user’s specific needs.

Initially, Qwizy will only be available for iOS devices in late May. If it lives up to our expectations, we hope to expand its release to Android as well. It’s clear that puzzle games, whether casual or hardcore, are highly favored by mobile gamers. I believe striving to develop something educational rather than just entertaining is a commendable objective.
