Animal

This creature moves swiftly on four legs, tending to approach rather than retreat when in your presence. Despite being somewhat menacing, it only inflicts 2 points of damage, making it less dangerous compared to other threats. To transport it, you’ll need to have accumulated 4 strength upgrades.
Approach: It could prove beneficial to let them survive, seeing as they can assist in taking down smaller creatures, for instance, Gnomes. However, if that’s not feasible, you can dispatch them swiftly using tools like the bat or map items, or simply choose to flee or hide from them instead.
Apex Predator (Duck)

HP: 150
In a playful twist, the Top Predator takes the form of an adorable duck, tagging along behind the player. It persistently tracks the player’s crosshair, attempting to lure you into clicking on it while you gather items. Yet, beware! Clicking or touching this charming creature will instantaneously turn it into a terrifying airborne monster that inflicts 10 points of damage for approximately ten seconds upon you.
Approach: Dealing with Ducks, one of our less formidable foes, is quite straightforward. To ensure resources aren’t unnecessarily depleted, it’s advisable to utilize the extraction zone for their removal. Once the required number has been met, gently nudge the duck towards the extraction zone, allowing them to meet an untimely end. This action also rewards you with an orb, a valuable item that can be traded.
Banger (Exploding Skull)

HP: 65
The Banger is a compact explosive device resembling a small skull, carrying a bomb inside. Usually, these devices move in groups of three, detonating the bomb when they spot a player or suffer damage themselves. The explosion isn’t immediate but will prove lethal to players in close proximity and cause significant damage from a distance.
Approach: Bangs pose a threat not just to players, but also to adversaries. You can hurl the Bangs towards nearby creatures to eliminate them, discard them to prevent self-harm, or crush them twice on the ground to destroy them.
Bowtie (Cloud)

In the realm of R.E.P.O., there resides a bulky creature resembling a cloud, known as Bowtie. Ordinarily, it’s rather sluggish, but when provoked, it picks up speed. Upon spotting a player, it lets out a terrifying scream, shoving the player and rendering their movements momentarily impossible. At times, Bowtie can become enraged and charge at maximum velocity, causing harm to anything in its path. To lift this beast requires a player with a strength level of 9.
Approach: For dealing with the Bowtie, it’s advisable to employ ranged weaponry whenever possible. However, if it isn’t paying attention, you can also opt for melee attacks. Remember to stay low and seek cover behind tables or corners when the Bowtie is nearby. Wait until it moves on before making your move.
Chef (Frog)

The Frog Chef is adorned in a chef’s attire and wielding two meat cleavers. It moves at a leisurely pace, but when it attacks, it zeroes in on the player’s position and charges aggressively. Dealing substantial damage, it doesn’t have enough power to instantly eliminate a player. However, players must possess 9 units of strength to lift this culinary amphibian.
Tactics: It’s advisable to stay out of sight from the Chef, but if it charges, try to dodge sideways. Another option is to seek cover by ducking behind doors or walls to prevent getting attacked.
Clown

The Character resembles a terrifying clown often encountered in horror video games. This figure possesses oversized boots capable of crushing anyone who approaches too closely. Moreover, it sports a balloon-like appendage on its head, which emits laser beams. This character targets the player’s head. It requires 13 units of strength to lift it.
Approach: When you notice the Clown approaching by his footsteps, the safest bet is to find a hidden spot. But if unfortunately, you find yourself trapped in a room with it, your goal should be to stay as far from it as possible. Being near the Clown usually means certain doom.
Gnome

HP: 20
Typically, you’ll find gnomes appearing together in numbers of four or more, often focusing on seizing precious items first rather than attacking players directly.
Strategy: Lift them, then throw them away. They easily break with little effort.
Headman

HP: 150
The Floating Overseer, a large, ominous head, floats menacingly through the area, emitting harsh, snapping sounds. Upon spotting a player, it aggressively rushes towards them and attacks with a bite that inflicts 50 points of damage. It requires a strength of 13 to lift this creature off the ground.
Approach: Given its sluggish pace, dodging and concealment would be the wisest course of action. This should discourage it from pursuing further. Firearms are highly effective against the Headman, but melee weapons or honking the clown’s nose to make it explode could also work (the latter might not be applicable for all monsters). However, avoid hiding under tables as it can still manage to reach you.
Hidden

The Unseen Foe is hardly perceptible yet menacing. Players can spot its smoke-blackened head and trail of footprints. Upon encountering this beast, players will hear its terrifying shriek, feel its grip, and be carried off by it.
Approach: It might be tricky to spot the concealed opponent, but a teammate could attempt to rescue the captured player to prevent them from being transported to unpredictable locations. While it can be eliminated, doing so will be challenging due to its near invisibility, so it’s advisable to remain vigilant instead.
Huntsman (Grandpa)

He can detect sounds such as footsteps, rushing, or verbal communication (including text messages converted to speech). Approach: Remain hidden. If the Huntmaster spots you, swiftly flee is the wisest course of action. Engaging in a battle might not yield favorable results given its robustness.
Peeper (Eye)

The Ceiling Sensor functions as an observer fixed onto the ceiling. It becomes active whenever a player comes within its line of sight. This compels the player to focus on it, which may cause significant disorientation.
As a fan, When facing the Peeper, I recommend finding shelter behind furniture like tables or cabinets for concealment. If that’s not an option, quickly press “Q” to let your teammate pick me up and escort me out of the room. Alternatively, if possible, I can try leaving the room on my own.
Mentalist

HP: 150
In simpler terms, The Mentalist is a levitating adversary who searches for players. When spotted, it triggers an anti-gravity zone which hovers everyone nearby. As time passes and the circle turns red, any players still inside will be forcefully dropped. Lifting from this zone requires 4 units of strength.
Approach: Keep a cautious eye out, for the Mentalist possesses the ability to teleport. Flee immediately upon spotting it. In multiplayer scenarios, if someone gets caught, teammates can grab onto them. In single-player games, pray that you and your companions have maximum health points (HP) to ensure survival.
Reaper (Scarecrow)

HP: 250
The Harvester is a creepy figurine resembling a scarecrow, equipped with razor-sharp hands instead of normal ones. It moves awkwardly and may be difficult to spot. If it notices a player, it will lunge violently in their direction. It requires a strength level of 9 to lift it off the ground.
As a fan, I’d recommend ducking low whenever the Reaper’s near and holding tight till it exits the current room. Avoid thinking you’re safe under tables because it can stretch that far too! Whenever you can, shut doors to confuse and reset the Reaper, making it wander off again.
Robe

HP: 250
In this horror cooperative game, The Robe stands out as one of the most frustrating creatures. It’s swift and stealthily tracks the player, catching them unaware. A glance at its visage enrages it further. Lifting it requires a strength level of 13.
Strategy: Crouch and hide. It’s fast and its attacks are lethal, so it’s not worth the fight.
Rugrat

HP: 150
The Baby Rascal is a nuisance infant that will pick up and hurl objects at the players. If there’s nothing to grab, it scampers off. This creature can handle heavier items, which could fatally strike a player with a single swipe. It requires 4 units of strength for a single player to lift it.

It has two ways to interact with players – it can shout at them or attach itself to the player’s mouth, causing their voice to sound deep. Additionally, players will occasionally throw up, damaging monsters, items, and other players.
Approach: Seize hold of it and vigorously shake it to scare it off. Should it latch onto your person, refrain from looking towards your team members or resources to prevent harm. Utilize it against other creatures for inflicting damage, but exercise caution!
Trudge

HP: 500
As a gamer, I can attest that the Trudge is undeniably the bulkiest and most lethal adversary in this game. However, it moves at a snail’s pace, making it easier to avoid… or so you might think. Its massive mace is a clear giveaway of its presence, as its thunderous footsteps echo ominously through the levels. The Trudge possesses an uncanny ability to pull players towards itself and delivers crushing blows that can deal a whopping 100 points of damage in a single strike. If you’re not equipped with any health upgrades, these strikes are essentially game-ending. So, tread carefully when the Trudge is around!
As a gamer, I’d say the smart move here is to steer clear, find cover, and hope it moves on. But if you’re feeling brave enough for a battle, make sure you’ve got melee or ranged weapons at the ready. This thing packs quite a punch with 500 health points, so gear up before engaging!
Upscream
