As a lifestyle expert, I have had the privilege of observing and analyzing countless individuals’ journeys to success, and Radhikka Madan’s story is one that truly resonates with me. Her recent interview with India Today highlighted her humility and grace in the face of comparisons to the late, great Sridevi.
Despite Sarfira falling short of expectations, Radhikka Madan has been receiving accolades and affection for her performance in Akshay Kumar’s latest film. In a recent interview, the actress spoke about being compared to the late iconic actress Sridevi, and expressed that she doesn’t dwell on failures.
Radhikka Madan sees comparisons with Sridevi with a sense of humility and honor
In an interview with India Today, Radhikka Madan expressed her gratitude for the outpouring of praise for her role as Sarfira. Her compelling acting has drawn comparisons to the late and great actress Sridevi.
When I heard that comparison, my heart skipped a beat. I couldn’t believe it, yet they mentioned that “I reminded them of Sridevi.” That meant the world to me. However, I’m not delusional enough to think I could ever live up to her legend. This news didn’t make me serious in the least; instead, I was thrilled and proud, thinking, “Great! Good for me! That’s it. I can’t be her, but just knowing there’s a resemblance is an incredible feeling.”
As a die-hard fan, I can’t help but admire her resilience in the face of success’s burdens and anticipations. She confessed that she doesn’t let setbacks get the best of her and strives to maintain an even keel.
Radhikka Madan on parents’ reactions to Sarfira
Madan shared that her parents wept during the movie’s premier and expressed immense pride upon seeing all of Radhikka’s creations.
She revealed that her supporters were elated when I made my TV debut for the first time and later in films. They are my most devoted fans. Occasionally, they attempt to be critical, but they fail.
From my perspective as an over-the-moon fan, I must share that the actress confided in us that her brother serves as her harshest critic. He’s not one to sugarcoat things; instead, he plainly states, “It was just so-so. You were superior last time.” I disliked that movie he mentioned. Yet, his unwavering honesty provides me with an essential reality check. Surprisingly enough, he appreciated her performance in Sarfira.
Simultaneously, Sarfira was guided by filmmaker Sudha Kongara Prasad. The movie hit theaters on July 12, featuring Akshay Kumar as a co-star. Additionally, Paresh Rawal, Seema Biswas, and others graced the film with their presence.
