In an interview with Bollywood Hungama, Raj Kumar Gupta discussed plans for Raid 2 and possibly Raid 3. With a smile, he expressed the importance of first releasing Raid 2, and he’s eager to see how the audience reacts before moving forward.

Raj Kumar Gupta disclosed that the production of Raid 2 consumed about two and a half years of his life. He further explained, “We penned this movie for a year and a half, but it’s inspired by true events. In this instance, we have aimed to incorporate numerous fictional aspects as well.

After wrapping up Raid 2, the director shared that he has some scripts waiting in the wings and will decide on them later. He also mentioned that he knows what his next project should be, but various elements need to come together first. In essence, he said, you might intend to create a movie from one script, but circumstances could lead you to work on something different instead.
