2025 sees the highly anticipated big-screen debut of Raid 2, the sequel to the 2018 movie, starring Ajay Devgn, Vaani Kapoor, and Riteish Deshmukh in a gripping crime thriller. Following its theatrical release, fans can continue enjoying this film at home as it will be available for streaming on Netflix.
The recently unveiled poster for Raid 2 indicates that Netflix will be streaming the film. For those unable to catch it in theaters, they’ll get a chance to watch it online for the first time or revisit the story from home comforts. At this point, though, the exact date when the movie becomes available digitally has not been announced.
On March 24th, 2025, the creators of Raid 2 unveiled the initial poster featuring Ajay Devgn. He will once again step into the role of IRS Amay Patnaik. The tagline on the poster reads, “A new city, a new file, and another raid by Amay Patnaik.” #Raid2 is set to hit cinemas across town on May 1st, 2025.

Last week, TopMob shared an exclusive update that a sneak peek of the movie starring Ajay Devgn will be simultaneously shown with Salman Khan and Rashmika Mandanna’s Sikandar in cinemas. A source privy to the project mentioned, “Although an online premiere is planned towards the end of next week, moviegoers can catch it on the big screen starting March 30.
In the movie “Raid 2”, actress Vaani Kapoor takes on an important part, while Riteish Deshmukh assumes the role of the villain. Previously, TopMob hinted at the confrontation between Ajay and Riteish. According to a source, this upcoming clash of titans, who are both renowned for their talent, promises to be an exciting spectacle for viewers, as it’s been quite some time since we saw such a hero versus villain showdown.
The movie will be helmed by Raj Kumar Gupta. This cinematic work is a joint production of Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar, Kumar Mangat Pathak, and Abhishek Pathak. Save the date for its grand premiere on May 1, 2025.
