Ramayana team intends to call it a wrap for two parts by December 2025

Based on insider information, Nitesh Tiwari and his team are planning to make Ramayana as a two-part production featuring Ranbir Kapoor, Yash, Sai Pallavi, and Sunny Deol. The extensive nature of the film has led the creators to divide it into two parts. Unlike other films that wait for the release of the first part before starting the second one, Ramayana will be filmed concurrently.

The source shared that a significant portion of Ramayana Part Two is planned to be filmed ahead of the debut of Ramayana Part One. They have designed a 350-day filming plan for both Ramayana movies, involving group scenes with the expanded cast as well as individual sequences for each actor. The two Ramayana films will be released within a one-year timeframe.

Kunal Kapoor joins Ranbir Kapoor starrer Ramayana

Nitesh Tiwari’s Ramayana production exclusively shared with you that Kunal Kapoor is on board for the project. Our sources have revealed that the actor has been immersed in rehearsals and costume fittings to prepare for his role. Although specifics about Kunal’s character are yet to be unveiled, we can confirm that he has commenced preparations.

Alternatively, Yash from Southern cinema is in the film portraying the role of Ravana, while Lara Dutta takes on the character of Surpanakha.

Based on reliable information from the production circle, filmmaker Namit Malhotra and director Nitesh Tiwari are reportedly collaborating with Academy Award-winning composers Hans Zimmer and AR Rahman for their project titled Ramayana.

“Hans Zimmer is preparing to mark his first entry into the Indian Film Industry through the epic ‘Ramayana.’ Producers Namit Malhotra and Nitesh Tiwari have consistently expressed their ambition for this project on a global scale, and they are working diligently to make it happen. The source also mentioned that the music for Ramayana is created by the acclaimed Indian musician, AR Rahman.
