As a lifestyle expert with a deep appreciation for the world of Bollywood, I must say that Ranbir Kapoor continues to impress me with his thoughtful choices, both on and off-screen. His recent revelation about playing his grandfather’s iconic song for his daughter Raha is a testament to the importance he places on family values and traditions.
Runbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt are lovingly referred to as parents of their daughter Raha. These proud parents frequently dote on their child, sharing stories and moments with her. Lately, the actor from Ramayana disclosed that he played his grandfather Raj Kapoor’s famous song “Kisi Ki Muskurahaton Pe” for her for the first time.
At the 50th International Film Festival of India (IFFI), Ranbir Kapoor, during his latest appearance, reminisced a special moment with his little girl Raha. He fondly introduced her to music by playing his grandfather Raj Kapoor’s famous track “Kisi Ki Muskurahaton Pe” for her. This loving father couldn’t help but share this precious memory.
In a recent discussion, the actor from Love & War emphasized the significance of the song, remarking that its message is both straightforward and a profound philosophy to follow. He added that listening to the lyrics reveals this simplicity. Moreover, the 42-year-old expressed the importance of environmental consciousness and the role artists play in raising awareness about it.
He expressed his concern as a father pertaining to the future, stating what the world will be like for Raha after so many years. According to him, it is the moral responsibility of people from cinema and artistes to make films that not only entertain but also educate people. He mentioned that there is a plethora of knowledge that one needs to put out what can be done and, what’s going wrong.
He used an illustration of deceptive headlines or social media posts to underscore his argument about how people struggle to discern right from wrong. “I believe understanding is crucial, and if I can foster understanding for any issue, not just ocean conservation, but for preserving our entire planet, I think it’s our ethical duty to do so,” he expressed.
In terms of his career, Ranbir is one of the most active actors in Bollywood. You’ll soon see him in Nitesh Tiwari’s Ramayana, which is set to debut on Diwali 2026, followed by its second part on Diwali 2027.
Beyond my current endeavors, I’m immersed in the filming process for Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Love & War, where I share the screen with Vicky Kaushal and the remarkable Alia Bhatt. Not long ago, you learned that Alia has joined our team right here in Mumbai, making it an even more exciting project to be a part of.
