Taking to Instagram, I extended my heartfelt wishes for his swift recovery and urged for enhanced safety measures in our neighborhood. The increasing incidents of lawlessness are causing concern, with even peaceful places like Bandra falling prey to such unruly elements. Raveena Tandon expressed her concerns on social platforms, drawing upon a past incident with multiple people from the same community in June 2024, stating that the neighborhood has been growing more dangerous.

She additionally advocated for tougher safety precautions to be implemented, as celebrities and vulnerable locations in what was once a secure neighborhood have increasingly become targets for various issues such as crime, fraudulent accidents, street vendors, encroachers, land thieves, and motorcycle-riding criminals who steal phones, watches, and jewelry. This is a concern she expressed on social media.

This afternoon, actress Karishma Tanna, a nearby resident of Saif Ali Khan, expressed that the burglary incident involving the actor was “extremely frightening.

In light of the recent event, Karishma underscored the significance of enhancing security in their neighborhood. She pointed out that she has been an advocate for such improvements over time. Speaking to ETimes, she stated, “This incident should be a warning for isolated buildings in Bandra.” Furthermore, she highlighted the necessity of having competent guards on duty.

An uninvited guest made a hasty exit from Saif’s apartment on the 12th floor of the Satguru Sharan building in Bandra, following a failed attempt at breaking-in. This event was described by the actor’s representatives as an incident of “attempted theft.

After the surgeries, it was assured by Saif’s team that he is no longer in immediate danger, is currently receiving medical attention as part of his recovery process, and law enforcement continues to investigate the matter further.

Dr. Nitin Dange, speaking at Lilavati Hospital, detailed to the media that Saif had suffered a serious spine injury due to a knife being embedded in his spinal area. A surgical operation was performed to extract the knife and fix a leak of spinal fluid. Furthermore, he disclosed that injuries on Saif’s left hand and neck were addressed through plastic surgery procedures.
