As a huge fan of Reba McEntire, I can hardly contain my excitement as I eagerly anticipate her return to our TV screens this fall. Not only will she be gracing us with her presence on the final season of “The Voice,” but she’s also bringing us a new sitcom, “Happy’s Place,” which will air on NBC alongside the reality competition show.
As a long-time fan of country music and a devoted viewer of Reba McEntire’s iconic sitcom “Reba,” I couldn’t be more excited about her upcoming appearances on TV this fall! It’s simply amazing to see this talented artist gracing our screens not just once, but twice.
Besides Reba McEntire, the actors in “Happy’s Place” are Belissa Escobedo, Pablo Castelblanco, Tokala Black Elk, and her real-life boyfriend Rex Linn. However, McEntire is looking forward to more friends joining the production. In an interview with TV Insider, she shared her eagerness for her coaching colleagues to come visit and perform on the new sitcom. According to McEntire, they are also enthusiastic about this possibility.
In a quick summary, absolutely: Snoop and Michael Bublé have expressed their desire to join the show. Gwen, however, has only mentioned that she will visit and may eventually want to be part of it when she drops by.
Coaches are excited about the prospect of appearing on “Happy’s Place,” and filming at Universal Hollywood, similar to “The Voice,” is a possibility. However, the identities of Season 26’s judges remain uncertain. Melissa Peterman hopes Gwen Stefani will join her in portraying related characters on the show.
Gwen might make a great stand-in for my on-screen sibling. I made this suggestion since people often comment on our striking resemblance. She’s truly impressive.
According to the show’s description, Peterman’s character, Gabby, has longed to be sisters with McEntire’s Bobbie. Introducing a real-life sister for Gabby could add an interesting dynamic. However, it’s unclear if Gabby has a sibling or not. Bringing No Doubt’s alum on board as Gabby’s estranged sister could make for some exciting storyline development.
It’s plausible that the “Voice” stars could join the series in some role. With the potential for more “Reba” reunions, there are numerous opportunities for guest appearances. However, what truly matters is that the primary cast effectively delivers a lighthearted and heartwarming sitcom. Let’s keep our fingers crossed that Reba McEntire and her colleagues can pull this off, and perhaps some of her reality show collaborators will make an appearance as well.
Later in the year, you can look forward to watching “Happy’s Place” on TV, which is set to debut on October 18 at 8 p.m. Eastern Time. Additionally, don’t forget that “The Voice” will be back on your screens starting September 23.
