Reverse: 1999 concludes its first anniversary with phase two of version 1.9

  • New 6-star character, Kakania added to the fray
  • Several activities and events to look forward to
  • In-person anniversary events to take place in Los Angeles and Singapore as well

As a long-time fanatic of Reverse: 1999, I can confidently say that this anniversary update is nothing short of spectacular! With my years of gaming experience under my belt, I’ve seen many updates come and go, but none have been as jam-packed with excitement as this one.

If you assumed that Bluepoch Games’ Reverse: 1999 anniversary update was all we had up our sleeves these past weeks, think again! The second phase of our Anniversary Update, version 1.9, has dropped, packed with fresh features and events to keep the gaming excitement rolling. And here’s a sweet surprise for PC gamers – Reverse: 1999 is now playable on Steam!

In the second phase of version 1.9, set in the year 1999’s sequel (Reverse: 1999), the latest six-star character introduced is Kakania. This character is a compassionate psychiatrist with an idealistic outlook, and her tale unfolds in a story mission called “Through the Glass.” This event runs until the end of this month, providing players with growth materials, Clear Drops, and various other rewards throughout the journey.

Furthermore, you have the option to call upon other top-tier heroes named Satsuki and Diggers, who possess an increased drop rate. Besides these fresh faces, you are welcome to join two sign-in events: Footprints in the Rain II and First Year Monument. By participating, you can secure rewards such as Unilog and collectible items. Moreover, the UTTU Spotlight Edition Fire Thieves is currently active, allowing you to gather FAME Cards that will unlock a fresh outfit for Mesmer Jr.

The update also allows players to dive back into past event stories with the new Reflections system, which includes stories like The Theft of the Rimet Cup and other character arcs. New anecdotes, including Eagle’s Anecdote, are also available for a limited time. There are a lot of rewards to be won and you can earn even more by simply redeeming these

However, celebrations for the game aren’t limited to just in-game activities. In fact, Bluepoch is organizing an offline event outside of the game! This special exhibition takes place in Los Angeles on October 26th and 27th. It showcases unique artwork and iconic items from the game itself. Moreover, there will be a real-life event happening in Singapore between October 26th and November 10th as well.
