2020 proved to be a challenging time for Rhea Chakraborty and her loved ones in the wake of Sushant Singh Rajput’s passing within Bollywood. Recently, after the contentious case received extensive public and media scrutiny, the CBI submitted its closure report on the matter, exonerating Rhea. In response to this development, the actress chose to seek blessings at the Siddhivinayak Temple with her family.

On March 24th, Rhea Chakraborty and her relatives visited the Siddhivinayak Temple to ask for divine blessings. A photographer captured the moment on video as the actress was joined by her father and brother, Showik Chakraborty. In the footage, Rhea can be seen navigating the temple grounds and, prior to entering, the threesome – Rhea, her brother, and her father – flashed bright smiles and posed for the cameras with their hands folded in respect.

Additionally, they joined in singing “Ganpatti Bappa Moreya,” accompanied by photographers. Later on, the family departed following their blessing-seeking ritual, sporting a tilak mark on their foreheads.

During her sacred journey, Rhea appeared stunning in a vibrant ethnic outfit of green, accessorized with a delicate floral cotton scarf. She styled her hair partially and chose a natural makeup look. In contrast, Showik donned a white kurta and coordinating jeans.

Following the CBI’s submission of their report on Sushant Singh Rajput’s death case, the actress has remained silent on the issue. On the other hand, her brother Showik posted an old Instagram message that read, “Truth Alone Prevails.

On Saturday, Rhea’s attorney, Satish Maneshinde, acknowledged the closure report and issued a statement regarding the case. According to Hindustan Times, he praised Rhea and her family for enduring the “cruel” ordeal they experienced over the past years.

For those not familiar, the Central Bureau of Investigation submitted a report concluding the investigation into Sushant Singh Rajput’s death on March 22, 2025, which has been ongoing for approximately 4.5 years. In this case, it was argued that there were no forensic findings to support the claim that someone caused the deceased actor to take his own life.
