As a die-hard fan of the Fukrey franchise, I’ve been fortunate to witness the camaraderie and growth of the cast, especially Richa Chadha, who has become an integral part of this vibrant ensemble. Attending Pulkit Samrat and Kriti Kharbanda’s wedding, despite being six months pregnant, showcased not only her dedication but also her deep bond with her co-stars.
As a committed member of the Fukrey series family, I’ve had the privilege of portraying a significant character alongside talented individuals like Pulkit Samrat, Manjot Singh, Varun Sharma, Pankaj Tripathi, and many more. Since joining this team, I’ve built strong bonds with my co-stars that run deep. So when Pulkit tied the knot with his beloved Kriti Kharbanda earlier this year while I was six months pregnant, I felt honored to be a part of their special day. Recently, I shared some unseen moments from the celebrity wedding on social media.
Richa Chadha, a new mom, posted a series of photos from her friend and fellow actor Pulkit’s wedding to Kriti on Instagram. The series starts with Richa jokingly posing in a pretty blush pink kaftan outfit. In the next picture, Pulkit and Kriti are seen together during their Haldi ceremony. At the wedding, Richa was accompanied by her husband Ali Fazal, who wore vibrant attire for the occasion. A photo also shows her friend and co-star Manjot Singh at the event. In her caption, Richa mentioned that she is six months pregnant and celebrating this joyous occasion.

6 months ago, Chadha wrote in the captions, “I can’t believe it – our friends Pulkit Samrat and Kriti Kharbanda got married in March 2024! We were fortunate enough to witness the amazing performance of Noor Zora and their crew at their peak! Here you see us attending their Haldi ceremony, which was essentially a ubtan function.
Richa mentioned, “I’m six months along in my pregnancy, just wanted to let you know. Big kudos to my talented stylists Anisha Gandhi and Rochelle DSouza for making me look fabulous! It was great catching up with the Fukrey gang too. My favorite picture of you is the last one, Kriti! Thanks for sharing these pictures as well! Love you both.” Earlier in 2024, Richa and Ali became first-time parents to a baby girl born in July.
On the professional side, she’s currently working on director Anubhav Sinha’s upcoming film titled Abhi Toh Party Shuru Hai. This movie features actors like Pankaj Tripathi, Divya Dutta, Cyrus Broacha, Prateik Babbar, Shriya Pilgaonkar, and others. Following this project, she will delve into narrating the story of actress Silk Smitha.
