Rick Ross Speaks on the Possibility of Ending Drake Beef

As a long-time fan and follower of hip-hop culture, I’ve seen my fair share of beefs between artists. However, the ongoing feud between Rick Ross and Drake is one that has always intrigued me. In this latest interview on Caresha Please, Rozay gave some insight into the origin of their beef, which was sparked by a mention in Drake’s “Push Ups” track.

In the recent installment of “Caresha Please“, Rick Ross made an appearance and engaged in a conversation with Yung Miami, discussing the high-profile dispute he has with Drake.

In the video, around the 22-minute mark, Yung Miami (also known as Caresha) queried Rick Ross about the origin of his beef with Drake. Ross traced it back to a mention in one of Drake’s songs, “Push Ups,” where he said Ross’ name, which is off-limits according to Ross. He added that when such a thing happens, there might be trouble, but he enjoys the challenge. Later, Yung Miami brought up whether Rick truly believed Drake had undergone BBL surgery, to which Rick responded affirmatively. When asked why, he simply said, “It is what it is.” He further discussed how he coined the term “BBL” for Drake, a nickname that Metro Boomin used for his diss track aimed at Drake, and something Ross could easily repeat while smoking a joint, listening to nature sounds, or watching birds fly.

Yung Miami asked Rick Ross if they could put their past disagreements aside and remember their successful collaborations. Rick Ross playfully replied, “It depends on my mood. If I’ve had some Belaire Champagne that morning, it might be a good day.” He then added, “If not, you never know, because that’s how the game works. It’s just like that. Either way, I don’t let it keep me awake at night.
