Roskilde Festival Adds Olivia Rodrigo, Jamie xx and More to 2025 Line-Up

As a seasoned music enthusiast with a penchant for unearthing the hidden gems of the global music scene, I can confidently say that this year’s Roskilde Festival lineup has left me utterly thrilled! The diversity and quality of acts announced for 2025 are nothing short of astounding.

From the early ’70s till now, I’ve been a loyal fan of the Roskilde Festival – a magical gathering place for music and art enthusiasts like me. Run by the dedicated Roskilde Festival Charity Society and powered by 30,000 passionate volunteers, this event is more than just a festival; it’s a vibrant community united by our love for good vibes and creativity.

Between June 28 and July 5, the Roskilde Festival is set to commence, showcasing over 180 music performances. The most significant revelation is that Olivia Rodrigo, a multi-platinum, three-time Grammy Award winner, will be performing. Fresh off her 2024 GUTS world tour, which saw 95 sold-out shows in over 60 cities across more than 20 countries, this performance at Roskilde Festival will mark Rodrigo’s only Scandinavian stop in 2025.

As a music enthusiast, I can’t help but acknowledge that Olivia Rodrigo is truly one of the most impactful artists today. Her unique talent for articulating the intricate feelings of youth with such raw authenticity and power is simply unmatched in the industry. She embodies a fresh wave of headliners who aren’t afraid to expose their vulnerabilities and push boundaries, making her an ideal choice for Roskilde Festival.

In addition to Olivia Rodrigo, the Roskilde Festival has revealed that British producer Jamie xx will headline on the Orange Stage, transforming it into an all-encompassing nightclub experience. At the same time, American heavy metal veterans Deftones are set to unveil a wealth of fresh tunes. Moreover, A. G. Cook, known as the father of hyperpop, will take the stage, and Saint Levant, the architect of Palestinian pop, will perform alongside Landless and The Mary Wallopers, who hail from Ireland and play folk music.
