RUF Embraces The Wild West with 610 HP Rodeo 911

As a seasoned off-roader with a penchant for high-performance vehicles, the 2025 RUF Rodeo has left me utterly smitten! Having traversed some of the most challenging terrains across continents, I can confidently say that this German-engineered beauty is a game-changer.

Ruf, the renowned German automaker famous for its high-performance cars built upon Porsche foundations, has revealed its newest model at this year’s Monterey Car Week – the 2025 Ruf Rodeo. This breathtaking off-road sports car combines luxury, power, and robust durability, drawing inspiration from the legendary Porsche 911 and the spirit of the American West, encapsulated by the saying “can do anything, go anywhere.”

The core of the RUF Rodeo features a 3.6L, horizontally-arranged six-cylinder engine with turbocharging, producing an impressive 610 horsepower and 516 pound-feet of torque. This potent engine is paired with a six-speed manual transmission and a versatile all-wheel-drive system, complete with limited-slip differentials, offering exceptional handling and flexibility for conquering various terrains.

The framework of the Rodeo is constructed from carbon fiber, boasting a sleek monocoque design with an Integrated Roll Cage (IRC) for improved safety and stability. To match this sturdy foundation, there’s a high-end suspension system in place, which includes double-wishbone suspension with pushrod horizontal dampers and active electronic suspension. This configuration, paired with specially marked Goodyear all-terrain tires bearing the RUF Rodeo logo, offers 9.6 inches of ground clearance, ensuring that the Rodeo can handle off-road terrain just as effectively as it manages smooth roads.

The RUF Rodeo not only boasts an advanced carbon-ceramic braking system and RUF Bi-LED lighting for optimal performance and visibility in all weather conditions, but its tough exterior conceals a luxurious interior that pays tribute to the American West. This cabin is reminiscent of Ralph Lauren’s RRL Ranch, decorated with plush brown leather and colorful stitching, capturing the essence of the Wild West.

The Rodeo is equipped with contemporary conveniences such as power windows, locks, and air conditioning. What’s unusual about it is that it lacks an infotainment system, offering drivers and passengers a chance to focus solely on the driving experience. At this point, details regarding pricing and release dates have not been disclosed; we anticipate further updates from RUF soon.
