Notable movie director and President of the Indian Film and Television Directors Association, Ashoke Pandit, has spoken out against the stabbing incident involving Saif Ali Khan at his Mumbai home. Furthermore, the All India Cine Workers Association has called for a thorough probe and appropriate action in this case.
In conversation with ANI, Ashoke Pandit voiced his worry about the incident involving an attack inside Saif Ali Khan’s home. “IFTDA disapproves of this assault on our actor member, Saif Ali Khan,” he stated, also expressing concern regarding the safety and security measures within residential communities. He wondered aloud how a trespassor managed to gain access to the 12th floor of a building and enter a residence.

Pandit voiced his worry about the actor’s well-being, condition, and protection. In the discussion, the filmmaker also shared his opinion, saying “The Mumbai Police is quite competent, and there’s no debate about Mumbai being safe. Let’s avoid politicizing this situation.
Pandit strongly urged immediate action and appropriate penalties for the wrongdoer, also expressing hope that Khan would return to the set with his characteristic energy.
