Since this morning (January 16, 2025), there have been several new developments concerning the incident involving Saif Ali Khan‘s attack. Earlier reports suggested that a nurse working at his residence alleged in her statement that an intruder had demanded one crore rupees before attacking both herself and Saif. Based on a report from The Times Of India, Eliyama Philip, a 56-year-old nurse working at Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor Khan’s home, alleged that an intruder asked for one crore rupees from her. However, when she refused, he physically attacked her. Contrastingly, according to a report by Hindustan Times, Joint Commissioner Satya Narayan Chaudhary has disputed the claim that the intruder demanded a sum of one crore rupees.
In my role as a diligent follower, I’d like to share this: The investigating officer has referred to it as a burglary attempt and shared with ANI that the suspect allegedly infiltrated the residence of some well-known Bollywood personalities via a fire escape. He further mentioned that the current findings point towards an attempted break-in, and they are actively working to apprehend the suspect without delay. Upon his capture, more comprehensive details will be disclosed.
It has been revealed that one suspect has been identified as the individual who climbed the staircase to burglarize Saif’s home in Bandra. Multiple task forces are actively investigating from various angles with the intention to apprehend him. Following the incident, Dr Niraj Uttamani, the COO of the hospital where Saif was taken, reported that he sustained six injuries, two of which were minor, two moderate, and two severe.
Moreover, Saif had an injury near his spine in the back area, specifically his thoracic spine, which was caused by a knife. Additionally, he had two deep cuts on his left hand and the right side of his neck.
