Following a stabbing incident at their Bandra residence, actor Saif Ali Khan was discharged from the hospital and returned home. Saif and his wife, actress Kareena Kapoor, intend to acknowledge their domestic help, Eliyamma Philip, for her brave actions during the intrusion on January 16. According to a report in India Today, Saif wishes to personally meet Phillip to express his gratitude for shielding him from the attacker by standing between them.
Philip plays a crucial role as a key witness in the current investigation and has offered his testimony to the authorities. On the 16th of January, Saif Ali Khan suffered multiple stab wounds (approximately six) from an unknown intruder who forced entry into the actor’s residence during the early morning hours.
In a heart-pounding moment, I was there, nestled among the crowd, when one of the team members spotted an intruder amidst the chaos within the household, cradling their youngest bundle of joy. As Saif and Kareena Kapoor graced the room, they too witnessed this intruder displaying unsettling aggression towards the househelp.
In a confrontation with the assailant, Saif ended up being repeatedly stabbed. Around 2:30 am, he was promptly taken to the hospital for urgent medical care.

A man named Mohammad Shariful Islam Shehzad, who hails from Bangladesh, has been detained in relation to a case under investigation. As per reports in The Times of India, this individual, identified as Mohammad Shehzad, allegedly chose Saif Ali Khan’s residence because of his severe financial hardships and aimed to burglarize someone wealthy. The report further states that after the proposed crime, he intended to flee back to Bangladesh.
According to the report, an officer mentioned that Shehzad picked Saif’s house at random, driven only by the intention of burgling a wealthy individual. The objective was to acquire valuable possessions which could then be utilized to assist his struggling mother.
