As a result of his injuries, the actor has been hospitalized and the investigation into the matter is still ongoing. The police have expressed their astonishment over the insufficient security measures in place at Saif’s residence. They suspect that the perpetrator gained entry through a ventilation system.

Based on a report in Times of India, it proved difficult for Mumbai police to follow the path of the uninvited guest as there were no security cameras either inside or outside Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor Khan’s home. However, the image of the suspect was captured by the building’s CCTV system where the couple resides in their quadruplex apartment.

According to the information provided by the portal, the police presumed that the intruder entered the residence through a ventilation shaft not monitored by CCTV cameras. This discovery left the police taken aback due to the apparent absence of adequate security precautions at the home.

According to the report, a police officer disclosed that no personal security guards were found at the entrance or within the house for emergencies. Remarkably, it was also stated that the residential complex lacked a logbook to record who came and went.
