Saif Ali Khan reveals his ‘boys’ Ibrahim, Taimur and Jeh are ‘so much more sorted’ than he was: ‘I deserve kids as naughty as me’

As a lifestyle expert with a keen eye for celebrity insights, I find Saif Ali Khan’s journey both fascinating and inspiring. His candid confessions about his past misadventures and his present-day reflections on his sons are a testament to his unique blend of charm, charisma, and humility.

Saif Ali Khan recently commented on his sons Ibrahim, Taimur, and Jeh, stating that they are “far more organized” than he was at their age. In a light-hearted manner, he said, “I think I’ve earned kids as mischievous as myself.” Being part of the illustrious Pataudi family, Saif is the son of the renowned cricketer Nawab Mansoor Ali Khan Pataudi and actress Sharmila Tagore. Like his mother, Saif has established a successful acting career in Indian cinema.

During an interview with India Today, Saif Ali Khan shared thoughts about his sons, commenting on how they are remarkably more organized compared to him during his younger days. He expressed, “I often tell the boys, ‘You are incredibly well-organized compared to me at your age. So, it’s all good from that perspective.’

The actor continued to think back on an incident where one of his mom’s friends noted his child behaving playfully during a flight, which reminded him of his own naughty side as a kid. Saif shared that his mom had thought about writing a book about him, possibly called “Oh Saif,” due to all the mischievous things he did.

He humorously shared the incident on the flight, where his mother’s friend warned him that if his son were anything like him, he might face some challenges, though Saif noted that none of his children are as troublesome as he once was. He added, “Karmicly, I deserve kids as naughty as me.”

Earlier, during an interview on Koffee With Karan with Karan Johar, Saif Ali Khan talked about a crucial turning point in his career. He mentioned that after getting several movie offers, things started slowing down. Film director Rahul Rawail even told him that his acting career was finished and no one would hire him again. However, everything turned around when Yash Chopra contacted him. Knowing Saif’s playful reputation, Yash Chopra asked him to promise he would be on his best behavior.

Saif shared that he got a role in the movie Parampara, which boasted an illustrious cast like Aamir Khan, Raveena Tandon, Neelam, Vinod Khanna, and Sunil Dutt. In search of the perfect actor for a specific part, Chopra gave Saif the opportunity when he vowed to maintain good conduct. As a result, Saif secured the role, and once Yash Chopra became involved, those who previously rejected him began showing interest in working with him. Saif acknowledged Yash Chopra for providing him with a vital career boost at a pivotal moment.
