Salman Khan ‘bachpan se hi Khoobsurat the’, claims Javed Akhtar; reveals Arbaaz Khan was a ‘regular seducer’ at Angry Young Men trailer launch

As a lifestyle expert with a rich background in Bollywood history, I must say that the recent trailer launch of Angry Young Men: The Salim Javed Story has certainly stirred some nostalgic emotions. Listening to Javed Akhtar share anecdotes about Salman and Arbaaz Khan was not only entertaining but also enlightening, offering a glimpse into their lives during childhood.

In Mumbai, the long-awaited trailer for the movie titled “Angry Young Men: The Salim Javed Story” was finally revealed. As we looked back at memories past, the renowned lyricist Javed Akhtar shared that Salman Khan, Salim Khan’s son, has always been an attractive child. He also joked about Arbaaz Khan being a frequent charmer.

At the unveiling of a new movie trailer, a longtime songwriter shared captivating stories about Salman and Arbaaz Khan. He disclosed that when he first encountered Salim Khan in 1965, Salman wasn’t even a full year old yet. Expressing admiration for the megastar, he remarked, “He looks so striking nowadays, it’s not just something recent; he has always been charming since his childhood.” He further described Salman as an exceptionally good-looking child.

Javed Akhtar reminisced about a black-and-white photo of Khan displayed in their living room. The renowned lyricist shared that all the children of Salim Khan were born while he was present. However, it was Salman who was particularly shy and reserved. On the other hand, Arbaaz was more mischievous.

“He admitted to being a chronic charmer,” he stated, adding that he would often befriend every acquaintance of Salim Khan. When Arbaaz challenged Akhtar’s statements, he joked, “You don’t even know what all you managed in just six days?”

Further on, Akhtar highlighted that Arbaaz formed a unique bond with each visitor, whereas Salman typically remained secluded in a corner. Notably, the seasoned poet often observed Arbaaz being seen as a friendly and approachable youngster by many.

Apart from what was mentioned earlier, he additionally shared an unusual habit of Arbaaz – keeping his hair neatly combed at all times. I’ve never seen a six-year-old doing the same, which shows that his self-care and love for himself were quite remarkable.

The docu-series Angry Young Men: The Salim-Javed chronicles the real-life story and their experiences in the iconic journey. It will start streaming on Amazon Prime Video from Aug 20.
