A week later, the Mumbai Police has now countered his bail application, concerned that if the suspect is freed, he might communicate with gangster Lawrence Bishnoi.
As stated in an article from The Times of India, the Mumbai Police voiced their objection to Vicky Gupta’s request for bail in the Salman Khan house shooting case on Tuesday, expressing fears that he might manipulate the evidence involved.

Gupta expressed admiration for Bishnoi, who is known to be a devoted follower of Bhagat Singh, a historic freedom fighter. Furthermore, Gupta maintained that Bishnoi played no part in the Khan case.
