Salman Khan House Firing Case: Mumbai Police opposes accused's bail plea; feels he might inform Lawrence Bishnoi

As a seasoned lifestyle expert and connoisseur of the entertainment industry, I have witnessed the ebb and flow of celebrity scandals for decades. However, the ongoing saga surrounding Bollywood superstar Salman Khan’s residence being targeted by gunshots is a new low, even by Hollywood standards.

Recently, on April 14th, two individuals discharged gunfire at Bollywood star Salman Khan’s residence, Galaxy Apartment in Bandra, Mumbai. In connection with this ongoing case, one of the suspects presented a bail petition before a special court in the city last Monday. A week later, the Mumbai Police has now countered his bail application, concerned that if the suspect is freed, he might communicate with gangster Lawrence Bishnoi.

As stated in an article from The Times of India, the Mumbai Police voiced their objection to Vicky Gupta’s request for bail in the Salman Khan house shooting case on Tuesday, expressing fears that he might manipulate the evidence involved.

As a lifestyle advisor speaking from personal perspective, let me share some insights: In my understanding, I find myself in a precarious situation as one of the individuals under scrutiny for an alleged shooting incident. It’s crucial to note that the police have emphasized potential risks to the investigation, particularly before a specialized court dealing with the Maharashtra Control of Organised Crime Act (MCOCA Act). This underscores the gravity of the situation and the importance of proceeding with utmost care.

In their response, the police indicated that Gupta could possibly converse with Bishnoi, who is suspected as the key figure in Khan’s case, regarding the latest advancements in the ongoing investigation. They also mentioned that if the suspect is granted bail, there is a risk that vital evidence could be eliminated.

For the uninitiated, Lawrence Bishnoi is currently lodged in jail in Gujarat for unrelated charges.

On August 6th, Vicky Gupta, represented by lawyers Amit Mishra and Pankaj Ghildiya, stated in his bail request that he was swayed by Lawrence Bishnoi’s social media content. Gupta expressed admiration for Bishnoi, who is known to be a devoted follower of Bhagat Singh, a historic freedom fighter. Furthermore, Gupta maintained that Bishnoi played no part in the Khan case.

Last month, Salman Khan’s detailed statement being recorded in the ongoing case came to light after India Today accessed a copy of Mumbai Police’s chargesheet. In his statement, Khan claimed that he heard a cracker-like sound during the firing incident at his residence.

As a die-hard fan, I was on edge this morning when my idol, the superstar, confirmed the distressing news about gunshots. In his own words, he shared that he had spoken to his guards and verified the incident. In a subsequent statement, he pointed out Lawrence Bishnoi’s involvement in the case, stating that Bishnoi orchestrated the firing with his loyal gang members by his side. I can hardly contain my emotions as I continue to follow this developing story.
