Salman Khan or Shah Rukh Khan? Vedaa’s Sharvari Wagh picks her favorite actor: ‘Jab wo aate hai aap…’

As an ardent cinephile who has been fortunate enough to witness the grandeur of Indian cinema’s two colossal Khans, I find myself utterly captivated by Sharvari Wagh‘s enthralling journey and her enchanting encounter with the enigmatic Shah Rukh Khan. Her tale of attending SRK’s 50th birthday bash, clad in an adoring T-shirt amidst a sea of devoted fans, resonates deeply with me as I too have dreamt of such a moment, albeit from a safe distance and without the coveted T-shirt!

At present, Sharvari Wagh is actively promoting her newest project, Vedaa, which she stars alongside John Abraham and Abhishek Banerjee. Not long after, she will be joining the YRF Spy Universe officially. In a recent chat, the actress shared her thoughts on both Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan. She also reminisced about celebrating Shah Rukh’s 50th birthday outside his residence, Mannat.

During an interview on a podcast with Subhankar Mishra, Sharvari, the actress from Vedaa, was asked to select her preferred actor among the two influential Khans in Indian cinema. At first, Sharvari hesitated and assertively declared that she couldn’t favor one over the other as both were equally impressive to her.

Later during the interview, she mentioned an encounter with Shah Rukh Khan, sharing that on his 50th birthday, she attended the event merely to see him for a moment from the crowd.

Just like numerous SRK admirers, Sharvari expressed that the encounter was magnificent, exuding an inimitable aura. “I believe if one sees him 4 or 6 times on the balcony, they greet all his fans. When he’s present, you can’t help but feel enchanted,” stated the actor from Maharaja.

Reflecting more on the topic, Sharvari shared that SRK’s devoted fans (commonly known as SRKians) flocked to Mannat in buses, donned T-shirts displaying their hero’s image, and handed these out during the joyous event. Moreover, she too wore one of those T-shirts to honor his 50th birthday celebration.

In a recent conversation, the actress who stars in Bunty Aur Babli 2 also shared her admiration for Salman Khan’s movies. When asked about her favorite film of his, Sharvari promptly pointed out Bajrangi Bhaijaan, describing its human drama as both beautiful and selfless.

On the professional side, Sharvari’s newest film titled Vedaa is now playing in theaters. Furthermore, she is actively working on Alpha, a project that will introduce her to the widely recognized Spy Universe. This production is being helmed by Shiv Rawail, famously known for The Railway Men. Moreover, Sharvari Wagh has ventured into the realm of horror-comedy with her recent successful movie Munjya.
