Salman Khan’s dad Salim Khan admits he didn’t talk to the Sikandar star for 6 months; says he scolded him the most

Superstar Salman Khan, a prominent figure in Bollywood, is highly revered and admired not just within India but globally. Lately, his father, esteemed screenwriter Salim Khan, disclosed that there had been a six-month gap between their conversations. Additionally, he confessed that among all his children, it was Salman who received the most scoldings from him.

In a recent chat with Magic Moments, Salim Khan candidly discussed a challenging period in his bond with son Salman Khan. He confessed there was a stretch of about six months when they didn’t communicate due to disagreements or perceived mistakes on Salman’s part. Whenever the actor did something displeasing or seemed to make a mistake, Salim would cut off communication.

In the past, the experienced screenwriter mentioned that Salman Khan used to stay away from him in a discreet manner, occasionally slipping out of the house without any dialogue. Later on, he would come back and acknowledge his error and seek forgiveness. Looking back at his own journey, Salim underscored the fact that achieving success can cause an individual to become completely engrossed in their work, potentially leading them to overlook emotional and personal advancement.

In addition to discussing his parenting approach, Salim Khan acknowledged that he disciplined all his children, but the star of Tiger 3 felt the majority of this correction due to being the eldest. He disclosed that at one point, Salman commented on their shared behaviors, to which Salim responded that such similarities were not something he took pride in revealing.

Speaking about his past, he talked about how just hearing his dad walk could scare him. Determined not to replicate this, he made an effort to establish a connection based on friendship rather than fear with his own kids.

Currently, in terms of his professional life, Salman Khan was recently featured in the movie “Sikandar” alongside Rashmika Mandanna. This movie premiered in cinemas on March 30, coinciding with the festive occasion of Eid. The response from both the audience and critics has been a mix of praise and criticism.

In collaboration with Salman Khan Films and Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment, the movie titled “Sikandar” features a star-studded cast that includes Sikandar’s lead pair, along with Prateik Babbar, Sharman Joshi, Kajal Aggarwal, Anjini Dhawan, and veteran actor Sathyaraj in significant roles. Guided by the creative vision of Sajid Nadiadwala, this film combines intense dramatic elements with heart-racing action scenes.
