Salman Khan's Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan shooting felt like 'amusement park' says Raghav Juyal; recalls it required him 'to be on the set, have fun'

As an ardent admirer of Raghav Juyal’s craft, I must say his journey through the silver screen has been nothing short of mesmerizing! His recent stints in “Kill” and “Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan” are testament to his versatility as an actor.

Currently, Raghav Juyal is enjoying the triumph of the action-thriller “Kill.” Additionally, he was part of Salman Khan’s 2023 action-comedy, “Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan,” and earned accolades. In a recent chat, Raghav revealed that working on these two distinct genre films at the same time offered unique experiences. Speaking about his experiences, the actor expressed that he had a blast filming the Salman Khan-led production.

In an interview with India Today, Raghav Juyal explained that the productions for “Kill” and “Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan” were distinctly different. He noted that their settings and shooting styles were dissimilar. Remarkably, Raghav had to complete some scenes for “Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan” even as he began filming “Kill”.

Reflecting on those action-packed days, here I am, your humble fanboy, reminiscing about two unforgettable experiences. The first, a cinematic journey alongside the legendary Salman Khan, where my role was merely to be present, enjoy every moment, follow his lead, and return home at day’s end – it felt like a thrilling ride through an amusement park! The second film, however, demanded nine months of relentless preparation. For that one, I lived and breathed the story, making it more than just another day on set; it was a life-altering adventure.

Additionally, he pointed out that during the filming of Salman’s movie, the script was as fresh and tantalizing as newly fried pakoras, and most of the scenes were being spontaneously created on the spot.

In the same interview, Raghav referred to his mother as having a somewhat discerning eye regarding his performances, as she critiques them. After viewing Nawabzaade and Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan, she expressed her displeasure with his acting. On the other hand, his mother appreciated his performance in Kil. He stated, “Following Kil, she said, ‘This wasn’t you, Raghav.’ She was content with that portrayal.”

On July 16th, Karan Johar’s production house, Dharma Productions, addressed the confusion surrounding the remake rights of the film “Kill” featuring Lakshya, through a post on their official Instagram account, clarifying the situation amidst the ongoing discussions about potential Indian remakes.

To clear up any confusion about the remake of our movie “Kill”: We’ve only sold the rights for an English language remake. As of now, no one has acquired the rights for Indian language versions. (Post caption: “Remake Rights Clarification for ‘KILL'”)

Produced by Dharma Productions and Sikhya Entertainment, Kill was released on July 5.
