Nothing’s Subsidiary Brand CMF Launches Debut Phone, and Updates Earbuds and Watch
As a passionate fan of Nothing by CMF, I’m thrilled to share that their subsidiary brand is broadening its horizons with an exciting new lineup. I’ve got the scoop on three fresh devices that recently made their debut! First up is the long-awaited CMF Phone 1, which marks Nothing’s entry into the smartphone market. Additionally, we have the advanced successors to last year’s popular earbuds and smartwatch: the CMF Buds Pro 2 and CMF Watch Pro 2 respectively.
The initial model in the CMF Phone series, the CMF Phone 1, runs on MediaTek’s 5G-enabled Dimensity 7300 chipset and boasts a large-capacity 5,000 mAh battery.
The CMF Watch Pro 2 and CMF Buds Pro 2 represent the first iterations of these products by CMF. These new devices are an advancement from their initial releases, which debuted last September. Equipped with a robust 300mAh battery, the watch promises up to eleven consecutive days of use. Additionally, it is capable of tracking heart rate, blood oxygen saturation levels, and even monitoring stress.
Regarding the CMF Buds Pro 2 earbuds, they are now available in a blue color and boast a battery life of up to 43 hours with the accompanying charging case. Additionally, six high-definition microphones, Clear Voice Technology 2.0, and Wind-Noise Reduction 2.0 work together to deliver effective active noise cancellation.
Apple May Be Bringing an Ultra-Sized Screen to the Series Watch 10
During this year’s WWDC in June, Apple chose not to disclose any hardware upgrades. However, according to a report by Mark Gurman of Bloomberg, Apple has announced some new features coming for the Apple Watch. Specifically, the next generation, referred to as Series 10, will boast a larger screen, which is being called an “Apple Watch Ultra” size.
Apple introduces a novel chip for the Series 10 and Ultra 3 models, which could enhance the capabilities of some upcoming AI functions on the Apple Watch.
Finally, Apple is also reportedly swapping the Apple Watch SE’s aluminum shell for a plastic one.

At the second Galaxy Unpacked event of 2024, held by Samsung, the tech giant showcased its upcoming collection of devices.
As an avid fan, I’m thrilled to share that during July’s Galaxy Unpacked event, we were introduced to the highly anticipated Galaxy Ring. This innovative ring made its first appearance at the Mobile World Conference earlier this year. The smart ring is designed to monitor my personal health metrics, including heart rate and sleep patterns. It comes in stylish titanium finishes of silver, black, and gold.
As a technology enthusiast, I’m excited about Samsung’s expansion of their wearable tech offerings with the introduction of two new models: the Galaxy Watch7 and the Galaxy Watch Ultra. The Galaxy Watch7, similar to a smart ring, focuses on health technology.
Regarding mobile devices, Samsung introduced two fresh Galaxy Z models: the Galaxy Z Fold6 and Flip6. The former unfolds like a book, while the latter, designed for portability, opens up vertically. Additionally, Samsung unveiled the Galaxy Buds3 series, featuring an “Interpreter” mode, enabling real-time translation of foreign languages directly into the user’s ear.
