Sanrio celebrates the first anniversary of Hello Kitty: Island Adventure, out now

The one-year anniversary of Hello Kitty Island Adventure, an Apple Arcade title featuring Sanrio’s beloved collection of adorable characters, is being commemorated with a new trailer. This special presentation showcases the in-game Friendship Festival that will take place on July 30th, coinciding with the International Day of Friendship.

The “Friendship Festival” referred to in the title lasts from now until August 8th, with a theme centered around friendship. Snap pictures with different characters such as Cinnamoroll and Keroppi to collect friendship charms. Later, exchange these charms at the “Friendship Photo Booth” to gain access to unique emotes and themed clothing rewards.

The update introduces fresh appearances for both NPCs and players, as well as an extra companion slot enabling you to bring two beloved Sanrio characters along during your journey. Moreover, acclaimed composer Phil Boucher and pop artist MYLK have collaborated on a unique in-game song for Hello Kitty Island Adventure; unlock it to enjoy their original composition.
