Tom Hanks is primarily recognized for his portrayal of Private Jackson in Steven Spielberg’s film “Saving Private Ryan.” More recently, he has acted alongside Sam Neill in the crime thriller “Bring Him to Me,” directed by Luke Spark, and with David Oyelowo in Taylor Sheridan’s limited series on Paramount+, titled “Lawmen: Bass Reeves.
His past movie roles encompass the remake of “True Grit,” directed by the Coen Brothers and featuring Jeff Bridges and Matt Damon, Clint Eastwood’s “Flags of Our Fathers,” “The Green Mile” starring Tom Hanks, “The Death Cure: Maze Runner 3,” and “We Were Soldiers” produced by Paramount Pictures with Mel Gibson in the lead role.
In addition to the latest projects, Pepper has been part of Netflix’s film “Awake” alongside Gina Rodriguez, BRON Studios’ production “Solitary”, and the action thriller feature “Trigger Point”. He also played the role of Robert Kennedy in the Reelz Channel 8-hour miniseries “The Kennedy’s”, sharing screen time with Greg Kinnear and Katie Holmes. For this role, he was honored with the 2011 Emmy Award for exceptional lead actor in a miniseries or movie, as well as the 26th annual Gemini Award for the best performance by an actor in a leading role in a dramatic program or mini-series.
