Scott Eastwood Joins Allison Williams in Colleen Hoover Movie ‘Regretting You’ for Paramount

Scott Eastwood has been added to the cast of Paramount Pictures’ feature adaptation of the Colleen Hoover novel Regretting You.

On October 24, the movie “Regretting You” will be released in cinemas, featuring Tom Eastwood joining the previously confirmed cast that includes Allison Williams, Dave Franco, Mckenna Grace, Mason Thames, and Willa Fitzgerald. Josh Boone, who directed “The Fault in Our Stars,” is directing the film from a script he wrote based on an earlier draft by Susan McMartin, the writer of “After.

Regretting You centers on the aftermath of a tragic car accident that claims the lives of two family members and leads to an exploration of past secrets and regrets.

This project is inspired by Hoover’s top-selling 2019 book and comes from Constantin Film. The producers include Robert Kulzer, Brunson Green, Anna Todd, and Flavia Viotti. Additionally, Hoover, Williams, Franco, and Grace serve as executive producers.

Clint Eastwood has previously directed movies like “I Want You Back”, “1992”, “Fast X”, “The Wrath of Man” and “Pacific Rim: Uprising”. He’s slated to be in upcoming films titled “Lucky Strike” and “Stolen Girl”.

The first Hoover novel to hit the big screen was It Ends With Us, with the Sony movie premiering in August and surpassing $350 million at the global box office. Justin Baldoni directed the feature and stars opposite Blake Lively and Brandon Sklenar.

Additionally, the upcoming scene includes the movie version of Verity, Hoover’s book, directed by Michael Showalter and starring Anne Hathaway, which is being produced by Amazon MGM Studios.

Eastwood is represented by UTA, LBI Entertainment, Viewpoint and Goodman Genow.
